Toronto library to roll out book-lending machine at Union Station

If successful, the library will consider installing the kiosks at stations on the Eglinton Crosstown line and in the lobby of libraries

When Ottawa’s library system installed its first two book-vending kiosks in 2010, they were touted as Canada’s first.


Checking out books from the library is about to get easier for commuters.

The Toronto Public Library hopes to roll out a book-lending machine at Union Station by the end of the year. If it’s successful, more could be on their way.
